SAMBALPUR/BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday distributed the smart health cards among the beneficiaries under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) in Sambalpur district.
The smart health cards were distributed during a special programme at Kuchinda in the district. In addition to distributing health cards, Patnaik also inaugurated various projects.
Around 7.73 lakh people will be benefited from the smart health card in the district.So far, the BSKY smart card facility has been launched in eight districts including Sambalpur.
In addition to distributing health cards, the Chief Minister also launched various projects worth more than Rs 1,553 crore in the district. Of which, projects worth Rs 350 crore were inaugurated.
The Chief Minister said Rs 1,000 crore have been provided for drinking water in Sambalpur today. All houses in Kuchinda and Redhakhol NACs have been provided with piped water till now and by 2022 every house in the district will be provided with piped water,” he said.
