BHUBANESWAR: Utkal Gourav International School in Berunapadi in Keonjhar was on Saturday inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. 5T Secretary VK Pandian was also present on this occasion.
Congratulating founders and mentors for leading an initiative to transform education, CM Patnaik said that it’s a system of education that aims at physical, mental & spiritual wellbeing of future generation.
Appreciating the goal behind the school, CM Patnaik said that modern education provides knowledge to understand the world around us and use it to advantage for sustaining seamless growth. CM Patnaik added that as human beings there is a need to look within considering emotional, spiritual needs.
CM Patnaik urged everyone to come together to create a model world civilisation where each child from the villages and cities in India would be able to develop material efficiency along with spiritual magnificence. He also highlighted Odisha’s initiative to transform education.
School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash cited the success of Odisha Adarsh Vidyalayas in promoting quality education among rural children. He said that 25 thousand children from villages are studying in 314 OAVs.
