BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was on Saturday lauded the efforts of Collectors of Puri and Sundargarh for ensuring doorsteps textbooks delivery for Class-1 to Class-VII students in view of COVID-19 and lockdown.
“Amid the extended #COVID19 lockdown, Collectors of Puri and Sundargarh have initiated doorstep delivery of textbooks for the students of classes I to VIII with target of completing it by 25 April. The measure will ensure no child is away from education in these trying times,” the CMO said.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Patnaik annoncued a Rs 100 crore package for livelihood program in the State, where so far, 60 positive cases were reported including 1 death, 19 cured and 38 active till Saturday afternoon.
