CM approves shifting of Shree Mandir Hundi from Natamandap to appropreate location

PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has formally approved the proposal to shift the Hundi at the Natamandap of the temple to the appropriate location.

Along with this, the Hon’ble Chief Minister has also given approval for the installation of another new Hundi at the Natamandap. The State Law Department has informed the administration of the temple in this regard today.

The State Government has informed that this approval has been granted under Section 28-B (1) of the Shri Jagannath Temple Act and Section 3 of the Shri Jagannath Temple Hundi and Capital Fund Act-1983.
While the transfer of the hundi was required for the proposed darshan system at the Natamandap, the newly formed Management Committee accepted the proposal in its first meeting and sent it to the State Government for the approval of the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
