CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: “Thanks @Naveen_Odisha for 196 posts for 28 Police Outposts(OPs).These temp OPs were created by SPHQ ,some 3 decades ago, by redistribution of staff .These OPs are now regularized by Govt with 1 SI n 6 Constable, for each OP.Welcome strengthening of Civil Police,” Odisha Staff Selection Commission Chairman Abhay tweeted.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday approved the recruitment of 28 Sub Inspectors (SIs) and 168 constables at 28 permanent Police Outposts in the state.
The 196 fresh posts will be created by redistribution of positions in the police department.A Sub Inspector and six constables will be deployed at each outpost. They will be engaged in maintaining law & order and investigating criminal cases.
