CM Appeals People to remain safe in view of heavy rain

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday in a video message, has appealed appeals people to remain safe and keep families safe without getting perturbed.

IMD forecast said four districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Sundargarh will get heavy rains tonight

The Depression over Northwest & adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into a Deep Depression. It is likely to cross West Bengal and Odisha coasts between Balasore & Sagar Islands around tonight.

After landfall, it would continue to move west-northwestwards across north Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand towards north Chhattisgarh and weaken gradually, said the IMD. Following this, the weather agency has issued Signal-3 warning for all ports of the State.
