BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday announced various schemes for the welfare of Puri Shri Jagannath temple servitors. It focuses on the education of students in their families along with their health. Rs 10.85 crores have been given by the state government ₹ to the management of the temple for all these welfare schemes.
According to the Chief Minister’s decision, the health insurance amount for servitors and thier family has been increased ₹ 2 lakhs to ₹ 5 lakhs, while additional ₹ 5 lakhs will be provided for the treatment of serious diseases. In addition, a maximum of 3 times assistance will be provided at the rate of Rs 50,000.
