BHUBANESWAR/BERHAMPUR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed his deep grief and condoled the death of three minors in a tragic fire mishap in Polasara of Ganjam district on Monday.
The CM conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families and announced ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased.
Besides, free medical treatment has been announced for the injured minor, who is reportedly undergoing treatment at MKCG hospital.Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also condoled the death of kids.
According to reports, the incident occurred today when four minors were playing near a heap of paddy straw. The heap caught fire following which, the minors sustained serious burn injuries. However, three succumbed while undergoing treatment at MKCG.
