BARGARH: A child cancer awareness rally organized by Fighter Group Bargarh, Hope organization Bhubaneswar from the area of Bargarh District Bijepur Group Health Center, a grand procession with the support of local Radiance College students, Gayatri family Bijepur and Senior Citizens Association Bijepur, was organized by Mrs. Manini Bhoi, Chairman, Bargarh Zilla Parishad flagoff the rally and went around the city raising awareness slogans for cancer. A meeting was held at the local bus stand on how to detect cancer and how to get early treatment. Public awareness of cancer, the questions were also raised in this discussion.
Umeedein organization chairman Nitaigour Panigrahi answered the said questions. Notified Area Council Chairman Sita Barik, Cancer Survivors Fighters Group chairman Aswini Kumar Darjee, members Himadri Bihari Behera, Amrita Behera, Senior citizens forum of Bijepur Prafulla Das were in the program ,Girihari Das, Anand Padhan and Gayatri Pariwar Bharat Nag, Jasmin Bagh and students of Radiance College Students, Principal participated in the program and made the program a success while all the female health workers, male health workers, Asha Didi, CHOs were present at the assembly hall of Bijepur Group Health Center. A meeting was held on Childhood Cancer Awareness.

Fighters Group member Mrs. Amrita Behera, , joined in and explained the basic mantra of child protection and childhood cancer awareness and sought the cooperation of women health workers, hope workers and peddlers working in rural areas. Finally, Senior Tuberculosis official of CHC Debashish Debata gave vote of thanks.
