BHUBANESWAR: Ahead of President Droupadi Murmu’s Odisha visit, State Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting to review preparations.
The President is scheduled to visit her home state between February 28 and March 2 to attend various programmes in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.
In view of the President’s visit, a high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary at Lok Seva Bhawan.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, Secretaries of concerned departments, DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi, senior police officers and officers of different departments.
Dr Santosh Bala, Special Secretary of the Home Department informed about the various programmes during the President’s visit in Odisha.
