BHUBANESWAR:Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has launched an economic plan for Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Puri-Paradeep Economic Region or BCPPER. This plan has been prepared by NITI Aayog. NITI Aayog Member Shri Rajiv Gauba and CEO Shri B.V.R. Subramanian also attended the event.
Highlights:
80+ projects across metals downstream, biotech, textiles, chemicals, tourism, education & IT. 30+ policy initiatives to drive integrated and sustainable development.
BCPPER economy to scale from $22.4 billion to $500 billion by 2047.Vision to develop the region as a laboratory of growth and prosperity.
Positioned as a new growth star in India’s economic landscape, with support from NITIAayog.
The BCPPER Economic Region Economic Plan has been launched under the Growth Hub initiative for the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Puri-Paradise Economic Region. The necessary infrastructure is being created for Greater Bhubaneswar. We are working with emphasis on Ring Road, New City, Semiconductor Hub, Data Center etc. The double engine government has taken strong steps towards realizing the dream of ‘Prosperous Odisha’ by 2036 and ‘Developed India’ by 2047.
