BHUBANESWAR:Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has laid the foundation stone and dedicated to the public a total of 71 projects at an estimated cost of Rs. 6,700 crore. Out of this, the foundation stone has been laid for 39 projects at an investment of about Rs. 5,630 crore, while 32 projects at an investment of about Rs. 1,070 crore have been dedicated to the public.
The foundation stone for the construction of a new state-of-the-art Lok Seva Bhavan has also been laid. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a new elevated corridor from Jaydev Bihar to Nandankanan at an estimated cost of Rs. 952 crore.
On the occasion of the National Road Safety Month, the Chief Minister dedicated 15 charging stations to the people of Bhubaneswar. He also dedicated 14 new Atal Bus Stands and launched 100 new BS-VI standard modern buses worth Rs. 46 crore.
Similarly, the ‘Closed Loop Smart Transit Card’ or smart card system has been launched for cashless tickets. ‘Alert Bell’ has been inaugurated at Kalinga Ghat.
