BHUBANESWAR: Chief Construction Engineer Lower Saktel in Balangir, Sunil K Rout sent to Jail after his arrested in DA case.

2 Multi-Storeyed Buildings in Bhubaneswar, 3 Flats in Puri and Mathura in UP, 34 Plots,  Rs 2.84 Crore Bank Deposits, 1 Kg Gold, 1 Truck, 2 Cars Seized  by Vigilance sleuths so far.

Earlier,  during on-going searches, 2 more plots acquired outside Odisha in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh were unearthed taking number of plots to 36. The plots are located near Vrindaban Chandrodayo Mandir, Chhatikara Road, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Further details of area, cost etc are being ascertained.

2)  Investment and savings etc made by Sri Rout were computed and it is found he has paid premium of Rs. 1.86 Crore to various Insurance companies. Further, bank deposits of Rs.40.39 Lakhs have been ascertained so far. Total deposits assessed so far are over *Rs.2.26 Crores.  Further details of investments made in shares and other financial instruments are being verified.

3)  Enumeration of assets within the Farm house  at Saptasajya, Dhenkanal, was carried out.  Farm house is over approx 8 Acre land area.

1. a) A two storeyed residential building was found inside the Farm house.
2. b) Also, 1 poultry farm of 2123 Sqft. area was found inside the Farm house, wherein about 1000 number of country chickens and ducks were detected.
3. c) Further, 1 Cow shed of 2550 sqft. was found inside the Farm house, wherein 45 numbers of Cows and 25 numbers of calves were detected.

4) Valuation of assets in the Farm house is being made. Help of Veterniary Officers has been sought in this regard.

5) Inventory of Lockers will be taken up today. Searches continuing.   Further report follows.

Earlier, Vigilance found that Lower Suktel Chief Construction Engineer Sunil K Rout possessed 34 Plots, 2 Multi-Storeyed Buildings in Bhubaneswar, 2 Flats in Puri, 176 Gram Gold, Rs 2.34 Lakh Cash, 2 Trucks, 2 Benami 4-Wheelers , 4 two Wheelers

During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sri Rout and his family members;

1)         1 triple storeyed building over plot No.90, Niladri Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.

2)         1 double storeyed building over plot No.494, Nilakantha Nagar, Nayapali, Bhubaneswar.

3)         2-BHK Flat No.002 (ground floor), Block-J, Sikhetra Bhakta Niwas, Dolamandapsahi, Puri.

4)         1-BHK Flat No.C/104, Krishnadhham Apartment, VIP road, Puri.

5)         34 plots in Bhubaneswar, Puri, Cuttack & Dhenkanal. Details as under;

1. a) A piece of land vide plot No.S-4/90, Niladri Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
2. b) A piece of land vide Plot No.852/2041, Khata No.365/890, area of 0.167 decimal, mauza-Mallipada, Bhubaneswar.
3. c) A piece of land vide Plot No.494 (P), Khata No.478, area of A 1.74 decimal, Nilakantha Nagar, Nayapali, Bhubaneswar.
4. d) A piece of land vide Plot No.82, Khata No.177, area of 0.215 decimal, mauza-Raghunathpur, Bhubaneswar.

9. i) A large patch of land consisting of 19 plots under Khata No.54/33 & 54/31 of area Ac. 4.12 decimal, mauza-Routrapur (Athagarh), Cuttack.
10. j) A patch of land vide plot No.597/2050, Khata No.08/215 of area Ac. 2.00, mauza-Saptasajya, Dhenkanal.
11. k) A patch of land vide plot No.596, Khata No.08/243 of area Ac. 2.11 decimal, mauza-Saptasajya, Dhenkanal.
12. l) A large patch of land consisting of 4 plots vide plot No.602, 594, 601 & 597/2090 of area Ac.6.71 decimal, mauza-Saptasajya, Dhenkanal.
13. m) A piece of land vide plot No.357/2605, Khata No.08/241 of area 0.11 decimal, mauza-Saptasajya, Dhenkanal.

The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above buildings, flats and plots are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.

8)         2 Trucks, *2 benami four wheelers* (Hyundai Creta & Mahindra Thar) & 4 two wheelers.

9)         Bank, Postal, Insurance & other deposits are under verification.
