Chariots Construction for Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra is in full swing in Odisha’s Puri

BHUBANESWAR/PURI: Shree Jagannath Temple Administration was on Monday stepped up its efforts with Maharana and Bhoi Servitors working overtime while strictly following the COVID-19 guidelines, as Chariots Construction for the World Famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath slated for July.

With competent IAS officer Dr Krishna Kumar at the helm of affairs, SJTA taking all necessary steps as per the tradition during the Chariots construction, sources said. All works have been going as per schedule.

Around 143 servitors engaged in the construction of chariots were under gone medical test and all were reported normal and they are staying in isolation at Neeladri, Nilachal and Shree Gundicha Bhakta Niwas, informed, SJTA, PRO, Laxmidhar Pujapanda.
