BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was on Thursday got huge praise from Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu for Odisha’s fight against the deadly virus COVID-19.
The Telugu Desam Party’s President retweeted Patnaik’s public address from April 21 where the latter had announced martyr’s status and Rs 50 lakh for healthcare professionals and support staff who succumb to novel coronavirus.
“Kudos to @Naveen_Odisha Ji for leading the fight against the #Coronavirus with a strong determination to protect the health and well-being of people. His administration and approach during the pandemic has been efficient and filled with compassion,” Naidu twitted.
Odisha CM Patnaik earlier twitted “Entire human race is in a fight with #COVID19 and the World has lost more than 2 lakh lives in a span of three months. No continent has been spared and most countries are in a state of war with this invisible enemy.#OdishaFightsCorona,”. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also lauded the Odisha Chief Minister for his efforts to prevent spread of the deadly disease.
