ANGUL/BHUBANESWAR: Chairman Naveen Jindal has reviewed the progress of ongoing expansion works going on at Jindal Steel and Power’s Angul facility in Odisha.
Flanked by senior Company officials, Chairman, Naveen Jindal visited the integrated steelmaking complex and reviewed the progress of expansion works.He also reviewed operations and other activities of the company.
Few days back, it may be noted here that, Union Minister of Steel & Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia had chaired a meeting of the two Advisory Committees formed for Integrated Steel Plants and the Secondary Steel industry, where JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal was present.
The purpose of forming Advisory Committees is to ensure active participation of stakeholders to listen to the issues and possible course of action directly from the stakeholders, which will ensure success of steel sector.
JSP aims to expand the Angul steel plant’s capacity from 6 MTPA to 25.2 MTPA by 2030 ,which will be the largest Plant in the World in a single location as per present capacities.
