RAJKANIKA/KENDRAPARA(ODISHA): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik along with Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan were on Monday dedicated at least 5 COVID-19 Hospitals for Angul, Bargarh, Nawarangpur, Sundargarh and Jagatsinghpur districts to further strengthen Odisha’s fight against the pandemic. The dedication ceremony was held through video conference where Odisha Chief Minister Patnaik and Union PNG-Steel Minister joined hands together to streamline State’s health services.
Union Minister Pradhan thanked Central Government PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, NALCO, NTPC Ltd, PPT Ltd, MCL and others for their CSR contributions to these above mentioned COVID-19 Hospitals.
“Joined the inauguration ceremony of 5 dedicated #Covid-19 hospitals in Odisha along with Hon. CM Shri Naveen Patnaik.The facilities at Angul, Bargarh, Nawarangpur, Sundargarh and Jagatsinghpur districts will further strengthen Odisha’s fight against the pandemic,” Union Minister Pradhan twitted.
“I thank GOI PSUs Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. , National Aluminium Company Limited – NALCO , NTPC Limited and Paradip Port Trust for their continued support for a healthy Odisha. Not only are they powering India in these difficult times, they are also stepping-up the fight against #Covid19 in all possible ways,” the Union Minister said.
“I also thank the healthcare sector especially, ICMR-RMRC, ILS, AIIMS Bhubaneswar & Steel Authority of India Limited ’s IGH for operationalising rapid & pool testing mechanism to detect #Covid19 cases. Happy that our PSUs are taking measures to defeat the pandemic as a part of their social responsibility,” Pradhan added.
