Celebration of the birth centenary of former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, in Ekam constituency

BHUBANESWAR: Swami Vivekananda once said that India would become a world of knowledge. In fact, the foundation of this was laid by the former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna Shraddha Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The legendary Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has vowed to make this a reality. With continuous efforts, we can make this dream a reality, said the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi on the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary and birth centenary celebrations of the late Vajpayee organized in Ekamra constituency.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended the Women’s Yoga and Blood Donation Camp organized in Ekamra constituency on this occasion and said that blood donation is the best service to humanity. On this occasion, I encouraged and thanked all the blood donors. Yoga practice is essential for good health and a healthy life. Similarly, blood donation is known as a great gift as it helps in saving lives. The Chief Minister said that such an innovative organization on the occasion of Atal Ji’s Jayanti is certainly commendable.
Late Vajpayee loved the people of Odisha with all his heart. He deeply studied the art and culture of Odisha. His contribution to Odisha should never be forgotten. If we follow the path shown by late Vajpayee, we will surely achieve success in life, said State BJP President Manmohan Samal.
Deputy Chief Minister Parvathi Parida joined in and said, “The incomparable and eternal salute to the former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.”
Ekamra MLA Babu Singh said that former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a visionary, statesman, statesman, poet, philosopher, social worker and patriot. By dedicating his life and youth to nationalism, he has become a center of inspiration for all of us. Atalji had mapped out the development of the country for the next 100 years. His role in the formation of the New India Year was unique. It would not be an exaggeration to call him the creator of the New India Year. In this regard, his birthday is celebrated as Good Governance Day all over India. When he came to power, India was drowning in a debt of 14 lakh crore rupees. Despite this, he was able to take the country’s economy from 19th to 11th place by implementing many welfare schemes for the year. Despite adverse circumstances, he included India in the world conquest mission by conducting nuclear tests.
Today’s event was attended by Jajpur MP Rabindra Narayan Behera, senior BJP leaders, social workers, members of the Glorious Foundation’s Bharatiya Yoga Sansthan and Kalinga Baishya Women’s Association of the capital region.
