BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Congratulations, best wishes were on Sunday poured in for Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who received the Capital Foundation Lifetime Achievement award at a glittering ceremony held at Indian International Centre in New Delhi .
Chief Minister Patnaik received the award from former Chief Justice of India, Justice (retd) NV Ramana, in recognition of his distinctive and outstanding leadership.
Joys and Jubilations were seen from National Capital New Delhi to State Capital Bhubaneswar with ruling BJD leaders made all-out effort for this mega event.
Chief Minister Patnaik, who started his political career after getting elected as MP for the first time from the Aska Lok Sabha constituency on June 1, 1997, has received many accolades for his work. Patnaik has completed 25 years in his political career this year.
From the year 2000, he went on to win five consecutive state elections in 2000, 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019 and thereby created a record of five consecutive wins for a Chief Minister in India.
On his return to the state capital on September 6, the ruling party has planned a grand felicitation programme for Naveen Patnaik.
