BARGARH: For the first time in Odisha, Bargarh District Cancer Survivors have started a “Cancer Sahayog Centre” at Bargarh. The “Cancer Sahayog Center” was auspiciously inaugurated today with a traditional puja, which starts at the back of the Lengu Mishra Mini Stadium.
Members of Bargarh Fighters Group & Bhubaneswar’s Umeedein have started a unique endeavor to bring cancer patients back into the mainstream of society by providing psychological support to the patients and their families and financial support where needed. The Fighters Group which has already helped many cancer patients in the field of treatment and has achieved success by presenting the first demand for the construction of a cancer hospital in Bargarh, has today started “Cancer Sahayog Center” and has carried the burden of a great responsibility towards the society.
While the Fighters Group is always keen to help cancer sufferers get the right treatment at the right centers by being aware of the causes and early stages of cancer and raising awareness about the disease, the Fighters Group is always keen to uplift the morale of other cancer patients in the society. “Cancer Sahayog Center” has been started in Bargarh in a joint effort of “Fighters Group” and “Umeedein” of Bhubaneswar with the aim of helping in the field of treatment and making the cancer care journey of the victim’s family simple and smooth. “Fighters Group”, who has been giving the message that cancer is curable if treated patiently without fear, has crossed another milestone in the field of social service and has become a source of inspiration for others.
Cancer Survivors who have battled cancer for many years will guide a sufferer with the experience and knowledge of all the problems they have faced, so that a sufferer will not find it difficult to get the right treatment at the right place at the right time. . This support center can help patients who are fighting many cancers. There will be a partner in this support center. After giving him all his information, he will give proper guidance to the victim after finding out what kind of support he needs.
Fighters Group urges those who are wasting time in such conflicts or are afraid to seek medical treatment. On this occasion, Bargarh MLA Debesh Acharya, former MP Prabhas Singh, Zilla Parishad President Manini Bhoi, Municipal Council Chairman Kalpana Majhi, Municipal Council Member Kabita Behera, Sambalpuri Bastralaya President Sambit Acharya, Krishna Vikash Group Chairman Murali Krishna, MP representative Lipsit Mishra, Bargarh Cancer Hospital. Dr. Naresh Pradhan, radiation specialist of Burla Cancer Hospital. Dr. Biswa Ranjan Routray who was present praised the Fighters Group and Umeedein for starting Cancer Support Center in Bargarh and said that it will be a guide for the helpless poor people and people who are afraid of cancer. Similarly, in the coming days, the Cancer Hospital of Bargarh and the Cancer Hospital of Burla will be made self sufficient and proper treatment can be given to the cancer patients.
