BHUBANESWAR: After field visit ADG BSF, Shri Rajwinder Singh Bhatti reached Bhubaneswar and visited SOG Camp, Chandka where BSF and SOG teams are getting training for coordinated operation. Odisha IGP (Operations) Amitabh Thakur and other senior officials of State police were among those present.
ADG BSF interacted with state Police officials and trainee at Camp. He appreciated the effort of state machineries that brings the development projects on Naxal area and assured all out support of BSF. He distributed sweets and fruits among the trainees.
Earlier, Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, ADG, Command HQ (Spl Ops) visited Tactical HQ of Odisha Frontier and chaired a meeting with senior officers. Shifting of Naxal from Swabhimaan Anchal and southern Odisha to other part of state was the main agenda. During past few months violence related with Naxal increased in the districts adjoining to deployment of BSF.
He appreciated the efforts put in by BSF to contain the menace.Before coming to Bhubaneswar, Sh Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, ADG, BSF visited naxal infested area of Malkangiri and Koraput along with Sh Satish Chandra Budakoti, IG, Odisha Frontier, Sh S K Sinha, DIG, Malkangiri and Sh Madan Lal, DIG Koraput.
He visited newly established COB Jantri in Swabhimaan Anchal, Malkangiri and reviewed security situation. The officers took stock of the prevailing Left Wing Extremist scenario and response of the security forces to the Left Wing Extremism. He discussed about the strategic and tactical deployment in the Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri and bordering areas. He interacted with officers and Jawan and appreciated their work. He also interacted with villagers of Jantri.
