PURI/BHUBANESWAR: ‘Biggest ever Haul for Puri Police. 3.192 Kg of Brown Sugar Seized and 3 accused arrested. Great work done by Special Squad boys and BaseliSahi Police,” Puri SP K Vishal Singh tweeted. Around 3 kg of brown sugar worth around Rs 3 crore was seized during a raid at Mangalaghat Chhaka in Puri district.
The mastermind was identified as Susanta Pattanaik alias Nanda (22), and two others accused are Raj Kishore Sahoo alias Raju (24) and Manas Sahoo alias Guntha (27), all of Kesharpur under Kanas police limits.
Police also seized Rs 20,000 cash, four mobile phones, one currency counting machine, and one gray colour Maruti Alto from their possession.
