BHUBANESWAR: The meticulously designed sports infrastructure at the majestic Kalinga Stadium in State Capital of Bhubaneswar in eastern Indian States of Odisha, has greatly impressed British Deputy High Commissioner (Consul General) in Kolkata, Nick Low.
The Deputy High Commissioner Low, has all his praise for State’s Sports and Youth Services Secretrary, R Vineel Krishan. The British diplomat visited the Stadium during the opening part of the Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup, hosted here. The visiting British diplomat also hailed Kalinga Stadium as one of World’s best sports hub.

The Kalinga Stadium is a multi-purpose International stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Its foundation stone was laid by former chief minister of Odisha Late Biju Patnaik in 1978. It is situated in the heart of Bhubaneswar near Nayapalli area.
