BHUBANESWAR: Bolagarh PS Case No- 194, Dt. 19.07.2023 U/S- 457/380 IPC. Informant:- Govinda Chandra Sahoo, S/O- Harekrushna Sahoo of village Kumutisahi, Manikagoda, PS-Bolagarh, Dist-Khordha. Place of occurrence:- Kumutisahi, Manikagoda.
Seizure:-
1. Silver ornaments weighing about 5 KG.
2. Gold ornaments weighing about 250 Gram.
3. Housebreaking articles.
4. One dead pangolin (Bajrakapta)
Detail of arrested accused. Persons:- 1. Prasanta Patra (35), S/o Dandapani Patra of Bagadaria, PS- Kanpur, in Cuttack at Present- Sisupalagarh, PS- Lingaraj, UPD BBSR, 2. Rahul Pradhan (20) S/o- Raju Pradhan Chandapada, PS- Kanas, of Puri, 3. Prasanta Naik (30) S/o- Prafulla Naik of Bhatasahi, PS- Sadar, in Nayagarh and another 12-15 are yet to be arrested who are from different area of Nayagarh, Puri and Ganjam.

On 19.07.2023 on the written report of complainant Govinda Chandra Sahoo, S/O- Harekrushna Sahoo of village Kumutisahi, Manikagoda, PS-Bolagarh, Dist-Khordha, Bolagarh PS case No- 194, Dtd. 19.07.2023 U/S- 457/380 IPC was registered.
In course of investigation 03 accused persons as named above have been apprehended and others escaped. During further interrogation it is ascertained that they are involved in more than 100 burglary cases of Khordha, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Puri and Ganjam District. Officers of different district have interrogated them and ascertained the fact regarding their involvement. They are also involved in illegal poaching of wild animals such as pangolin (Bajrakapta).
