BHUBANESWAR: The important meeting of BMC Health and Sanitation Standing Committee was on Saturday at the headquarters premises.
Five proposals have been approved in this meeting. A 2000 ton biomechanization plant will be established by Oil India in Bhubaneswar.
There are plans to establish another 100 ton plant. The Standing Committee on Health and Sanitation approved the proposal to set up two centers for treatment of carcasses of dead dogs, rabies and to deploy three vehicles in three zones under the Mechanical Sub-division of BM C.
In this meeting Mayor Sulochana Das , Health and Sanitation Standing Committee Chairman Biranchi Narayan Mahasupkar, all members, City Engineer, DC Sanitation, DC Corporation and all sub-divisional officers were present.
