Blood donation camps organized by Commissionerate Police at 42 Mouza Police Stations, 108 units of blood collected

CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR:A voluntary blood donation camp was organized on Sunday, 22/12/2025 at ADM Palace, 42 Mauj., in a joint effort of the Blood Bank Branch of Sri Ram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital, Commissionerate Police and 42 Mauja Thana. On this occasion, 108 units of valuable blood were collected.

On this occasion, Additional DCP of Cuttack, Ranjit Prasthi, joined the gathering to inaugurate the camp and encourage the blood donors.
Among others, Shashikant Raut ACP Zone-4, ACP Ashok Kumar Giri, ACP, Bishwaranjan Nayak, IIC Purighat, Tushar Kant Sethi, IIC Sadar and Bibhu Prasad Pradhan Reserve Inspector Cuttack, all the staff of the police station were present in this program. Similarly, residents of various villages, village elders, local youth, local social workers and officials of various organizations also joined this camp and helped the friends to donate blood. The staff of the blood bank branch of Sri Ram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital collected blood in this camp.
To meet the need for blood in the Twin Cities, the Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Red Cross Branch has been organizing such blood donation camps at regular intervals.
