Blood donation camp organized at Raj Bhavan- Governor praises blood donors for their kindness and sincerity

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati has expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the compassion and dedication shown by blood donors to save lives. The Governor made these remarks while visiting the blood donation camp organized at the New Abhishek Hall of Raj Bhavan on Thursday.

The camp was organized in collaboration with Raj Bhavan and Capital Hospital Blood Bank. A total of 170 units of blood were collected in the camp. Students of various colleges, members of social organizations and Raj Bhavan employees and officers voluntarily donated blood, demonstrating their dedication to public service and collective participation.
During the visit, the Governor interacted with the blood donors, highly appreciated their contribution and encouraged them to continue supporting such humanitarian efforts. The Governor distributed certificates and T-shirts to the blood donors.
The aim of the camp was to create awareness among the youth about voluntary blood donation. The camp was coordinated by Dr. B.K. Meher of Raj Bhavan Dispensary and Dr. Debashish Mishra of Capital Hospital Blood Bank.
