BHADRAK/BHUBANESWAR: BJP Candidate Suryabanshi Suraj , who is son of late BJP veteran , Bishnu Sethi, on Tuesday filed his nomination papers for Dhamnagar bypolls slated for November 3.
Flanked by BJP Odisha chief Samir Mohanty and senior leader Manmohan Samal, Suraj filed his papers.
Before filing the nomination papers, Suraj paid tributes to Bishnu Sethi and had darshan of their village goddess at Mangarajpur in Tihidi area. He also sought blessings of seniors including his mother Urmila Panigrahi.
The last date for filing nomination is October 14, voting will be held on November 3 and the counting of votes and announcement of results will be done on November 6.
