NUAPADA/BHUBANESWAR:After the demise of veteran leader Nuapada MLA and former minister Late Rajendra Dholakia, the by-election is going to be held on November 11 to fill the said seat. In this context, late Rajendra Dholakia’s son and BJP candidate Jai Dholakia, after taking blessings from his mother, took out a grand procession from his residence on Khariar Road to the district office in Nuapada.
Due to this, the road from Khariar to Nuapada was completely crowded. Hundreds of vehicles and thousands of supporters joined the procession. At the Nuapada office, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee paid their respects by garlanding the photographs. State President Shri Manmohan Samal, taking the blessings of former State President Basant Panda, went in a large procession to the office of Jai Dholakia District Collector and filed the nomination papers with the election officer. Former President Basant Panda and Somnath Khamari of Komna Block are the proposers. 2 sets of nomination papers have been filed. BJP State President Manmohan Samal, Minister Ravi Nayak, Mukesh Mahaling and Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia were present during the nomination filing process.
The nomination procession was attended by Mrs. Simal Dholakia, wife of late Rajendra Dholakia, MP Malvika Devi, Balabhadra Majhi, Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar, MLA Sudhir Pattyoshi, Naveen Jain, Laxman Bagh, Tankadhar Tripathi, Ashwani Sadangi, Ashok Mohanty, Nihar Mahanand, Himanshu Shekhar Sahu, District President Kamlesh Dixit, senior leader Lambadar Niyal, Hitesh Bargati, Abhinandan Panda, Yadumani Panigrahi, Pasanna Padhi, Hom Singh Majhi, Kham Singh Majhi, former MP Parsuram Majhi, Prabhas Singh, Khariar Road NAC President Dr. Sonia Jain, Nuapada Block Chairperson Tareshwari Sahu, Komna Block, Nuapada NAC, Khariar Road Municipal Vice President, hundreds of District Council members, Samiti members, Sarpanchs and Ward members, State and District officials, representatives and leaders of various social groups, BJD leaders who recently joined the BJP, workers, well-wishers of the Dholakia family, more than 10,000 BJP workers and supporters attended.
While filing his nomination papers, State President Samal said that today’s procession will create a new history. The people of Nuapada have already made up their minds to make BJP win. The election results will be one-sided and BJP candidates will win in large numbers. It has been made clear from today’s huge public gathering that Jai’s victory is certain. The competition is going on between BJD and Congress for the second position. The successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the popular Chief Minister’s people-oriented work have reached every corner of the country and Odisha.
Our government is committed to developing Nuapada from a backward and aspirational district into a developed district. Shri Samal said that fisheries, agriculture, industry, tourism, education and transportation will be developed in Nuapada by solving the basic problems of the place.
Shri Dholakia said that inspired by the welfare work of the famous Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, late MLA and father Raju Bhai Dholakia, I have filed my nomination papers for the development of Nuapada in the by-election today. The overwhelming public support of the people of Nuapada has increased my enthusiasm. In the coming days, I will try my best to fulfill the unfulfilled dream left by my father and make Nuapada the number one district of the state.
