BHUBANESWAR: With the Naveen Patnaik led Government in Odisha is gearing up for former CM Biju Patnaik’s 107th birth anniversary on March 5 along with Panchayati Raj Diwas, the State unit of BJP on Saturday announced to observe Corruption Day across Odisha on this occasion on Sunday .
While the entire nation celebrates Panchayati Raj Diwas on April 24, Odisha is the only state doing it on March 5.
The BJP will host protest meeting across 314 blocks of the State as a symbolic opposition to corruption in the State during BJD’s rule in last 22 years.
Alleging about Rs 5000 Crore scam in Panchayati Raj system in Odisha, BJP State general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan said Odisha has become a breeding ground for corruption.
“ଜାତୀୟ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଆଇନ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଗାରିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ମାଗଣାରେ ଚାଉଳ ଦେବାକୁ ଏକ ଐତିହାସିକ ନିଷ୍ପତି ମାନ୍ୟବର ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି ।ଜାଲି ରାସନ କାର୍ଡ ଦୁର୍ନୀତି ଏବଂ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ସୁରକ୍ଷାରେ ଅଯୋଗ୍ୟ ହିତାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ତାଲିକାକୁ ତୃଟି ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର କେବେ ଆଉ କଣ ପଦେକ୍ଷେପ ନେବେ?, “he said.
“ସେଣ୍ଟ୍ରାଲ ଫାଇନାସ କମିଶନରୁ ଆସୁଥିବା ଟଙ୍କା ଗ୍ରାମାଞ୍ଚଳର ବିକାଶରେ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ହେବା କଥା କିନ୍ତୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ୭୫ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ଅର୍ଥକୁ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ନ କରି ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିବାକୁ ଯୋଜନା କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହି ଅର୍ଥକୁ ନିଜର ବ୍ରାଣ୍ଡିଂ କରିବାପାଇଁ ଅପଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛନ୍ତି । ଏଭଳି କରି ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ଅଧିକାରକୁ ହତ୍ୟା କରିବା ବନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ।, “the BJP leader said.
“ଏନଆରଜିଏସରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ବ୍ୟାପକ ଦୁର୍ନୀତି କରିଛନ୍ତି। ମିଛ ବିଲ କରି ଶାସକ ଦଳର ବିଧାୟକ ନେତାମାନେ ସିଂହ ଭାଗ ନେଉଛନ୍ତି।ଶାସକ ଦଳର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ ପରିବାରକୁ ଜବ କାର୍ଡ ମିଳୁଛି କିବଟୁ ଯିଏ ଗରିବ ଲୋକ ଖଟିଲେ ଟା ପରିବାର ଚଳିବ ତା ପାଖରେ କାର୍ଡ ନାହିଁ।ଏନଆରଜିର ଏହି ଦୁର୍ନୀତିକୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର କେତେ ଦିନ ଭିତରେ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବେ?,” Harichandan asked.
