Who deployed the “spy” and why?, BJP MLA Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra said in a tweet.
A ‘spy’ allegedly recorded video of BJP leaders having lunch during party’s campaigning for the upcoming Padampur bypoll and later fled the spot after being questioned about his act on Sunday.
His Identity Card says, Odisha Police Detective Warrant bearing no-2599 dated 23.9.2021. His Name was written in the ID as Bhojaraj Dash and ASI , working with CID, Special Branch, Odisha, Bhubaneswar with stamp and sign of SP , Special Branch, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Narendra Singh Tomar, were having lunch at a person’s house in Purushottampur village of Padampur area, during which the accused arrived at the place and started recording video with a mobile phone. As the security personnel of the union ministers asked him to refrain from doing so, he identified himself as a staffer of the District Intelligence Bureau but later ran away from the spot leaving his I card and cell phone.
