NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National VP-Spokesperson and former MP, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda continued his attack on Wednesday on the alleged links and finical transaction between Indian’s film Industry Bollywood and Pakistan’s Military Intelligence Wing, ISI.
“Bollywood has been & should be a prominent part of India’s soft power. But it is no secret that in the past three decades it has been infiltrated by & made dependent on networks of underworld money & drugs with undeniable links to Pakistan’s ISI. Like it or not, that WILL change,” Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda tweeted@PandaJay.
The senior BJP Leader Panda had on Tuesday strongly disliked the statement made by Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan’s against BJP MP Ravi Kishan during parliament session.“Wasn’t expecting that Jaya ji would not show support for those fighting against drug cartels & the ISI linked funding network that exists within Bollywood. I wish senior industry figures would call out the deep rooted dangers these represent. It matters for India’s future,” Baijayant Panda had tweeted@PandaJay.
Jaya, alleging a ‘conspiracy to defame the film industry’, said on the second day of the Monsoon Session in Parliament, “People in the entertainment industry are being flogged by social media. People who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree. I hope that the government tells such people not to use this kind of language.” Previously, Kangana had called the film industry a ‘gutter’ and alleged that 99% of the people who work in it have been exposed to drugs.Jaya had also expressed shock at Ravi Kishan’s remarks on Monday. “Just because there are some people, you can’t tarnish the image of the entire industry. I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha, who is from the film industry, spoke against it. It is a shame,” she had said.
Earlier in July this year, a tweet Jay Panda had wrecked havoc in Indian film industry and panic had also spread among the wrong doers. “Came across shocking threads documenting personal & business links of some Bollywood personalities with certain Pakistanis & NRIs with undeniable track record encouraging violence in J&K, who have verifiable links to ISI & Pak army. I urge patriotic Bollywoodies to renounce them.— Baijayant Jay Panda (@PandaJay), tweeted , dated July 22 this year.
The senior ruling BJP leader Panda, made the sensational charge linking some Bollywood personalities to Pakistan and the ISI. The former Member of Parliament from Odisha had then clamed that some Bollywood personalities have business and personal links with ‘certain Pakistanis and NRIs’ who ‘encourage violence in Jammu and Kashmir’.
He had further asserted that these elements also have verifiable links to the Pakistani army and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the notorious intelligence agency of the hostile neighbour. Panda also urged patriotic Bollywood people to shun such dodgy characters within the industry.
The ISI has been held responsible by various Indian governments for spreading terror in India and carrying out attacks that have killed many Indian citizens. In the 1990s, some Bollywood actors and artistes were suspected of having close links with fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim.
Many photographs and videos, which are also in the public domain, surfaced in which these film personalities were seen hobnobbing with Dawood, the mastermind of Mumbai attacks of 1993 at his private parties in the UAE.
Look who is talking the man @tonyashai (Aka Aziz Ashai) who himself is sitting in the cozy rooms of California and provoking Kashmiri Youth to Pick-up Stones and Guns while his own Son Bilal Ashai recently graduated from Los Angeles @USC with Masters Degree., tweeted, Al iskandar (@TheSkandar) July 21, 2020. This revelation comes on the heels of the problem of ‘nepotism’ that Bollywood celebrities are facing in the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide.
