BHUBANESWAR: BJP’s Dhamnagar MLA and Deputy Leader in Odisha Assembly, Bishnu Sethi passed away after a pro-long illness, family sources said on Monday.He was 61. He breathed his last while being treated at the ICU of AIIMS here.Sethi was elected to the Assembly from Dhamnagar constituency in 2019 and Chandbali constituency in 2000.
“Deeply pained by the untimely demise of Shri Bishnu Sethi, deputy leader of opposition in the Odisha Legislative Assembly.An irreplaceable loss to @BJP4Odisha. His contributions to state politics will always be remembered. My prayers are with the family and friends. Om Shanti,” BJP National VP Baijayant Jay Panda said.
“Deeply saddened by the sad news of Deputy Leader Bishnu Sethi demise pray to the almighty to give his family and the people of Dhamnagar the strength to bear the irreparable loss, may his soul rest in peace in its heavenly abode Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti,’ Former Minister KV Singh Deo said.
