BJP Launches 5-Days Long Padayatra seeking Justice for Paree

BHUBANESWAR/NAYAGARH: “Participated in a padyatra along with @BJP4Odisha President Sh @SamirMohantyBJP ji, @BJPMahilaMorcha President Smt @VanathiBJP ji and other respected BJP Odisha leaders to demand justice for Pari and punishment for the culprits & the politicians who are trying to save them,” BJP National Spokesperson, Dr Sambit Patra tweeted @sambitswaraj. The party has been accusing the State Government of shielding State Agriculture and Higher Education Minister Dr Arun Sahoo, who is protecting the main accused in minor girl murder case in Nayagarh.

BJP National Spokesperson Dr Patra, State president Samir Mohanty, Bhubaneswar President, Babu Singh along with women leaders like Pravati Parida and Lekhashree Samantsinghar began the padayatara from the Lingaraj Temple in the morning. The party will hold a meeting at Jadupur in Nayagarh district after concluding the padayatra on December 24.

The padayatra taken out from Lingaraj Temple to Janla . From Janla, the Padayatra will continue till Sarua on December 21. It will resume from Sarua to Pichukuli on December 23. The party leaders and workers will conclude the Padayatra at Jadupur in Nayagarh on December 24.BJP said that the mega rally will be launched in all the 147 Assembly constituencies from today to mobilise a public debate on the disturbing trend of missing children in Odisha.
