BHUBANESWAR: India’s popular Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has called for planting trees in large numbers all over the world to protect nature and environment through the ‘Tree for Mother’ program. Today is Modi’s 75th birthday. From today, the BJP is celebrating Seva Pari for 15 days till Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti on October 2.
In this context, the BJP Kisan Morcha has expanded the ‘Tree for Mother’ campaign in the state. Trees have been planted in villages like Jagannathpur, Korakanta, Keshura etc. in Bhubaneswar district. State Kisan Morcha President Shri Maheshwar Sahu added that tree planting is essential for protecting the environment and nature. He called on the workers to plant saplings at home to make the ‘Tree for Mother’ campaign a success. Shri Sahu said that a large number of trees will be planted starting from tomorrow in the district and up to the mandal till Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
