Today, a meeting was organized by the State Kural (Kumbhakar) Mahasangh at Nuapada Block Kalyanpur. Deputy Chief Minister Kanakbardhan Singh Deo attended the Caste Society Conference held here as the chief guest and said that the state government is actively considering the formation of the main demand of the Kumbhakar society, the Matikala Board, soon.
BJP-ruled states have helped revive the traditional profession of potters by forming this board. The Modi government launched the Vishwakarma Yojana at the right time for the welfare of the backward classes and the BJP government will solve all the problems of this society in the future, said the BJP leaders who attended the meeting.
