NUAPADA:BJP is committed to the development of Nuapada. There will be a project worth Rs 1400 crore for the development of the area. The government’s policies and decisions will be implemented at the grassroots level. I have taken the responsibility of the development of Nuapada. For its comprehensive and holistic development, the honorable Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has appealed to the people of Nuapada to vote for BJP candidate Shri Jay Dholakia with a large number of votes and win the Padma award.
Addressing a large public meeting held at Komna in Nuapada constituency today, Chief Minister Shri Majhi said that Opposition leader Naveen Patnaik called BJP candidate Jai Dholakia a traitor. What is the definition of traitor, how did it come about? Where does the former Chief Minister maintain integrity, but what kind of integrity is this? BJD has cheated its own people by committing political conspiracy. Everyone knows how much BJD has cheated. Naveen has expelled his leaders from BJD one by one.
Did BJD not have a qualified candidate in Nuapada or were candidates brought in from outside? Is it not necessary for the people of Nuapada to be candidates? BJD is a candidate thief. BJD brought a Congress leader to contest in Bijepur, BJD stole a candidate in Kakatpur. Didn’t BJD betray then? BJD stole a candidate by showing off ministerial posts. BJD took away Congress leaders from Narla and Kesinga. Who stole the candidate and betrayed? Honorable Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has said that the Biju Janata Dal should give a clear answer to this.
Biju Janata Dal, which has completely outlawed one after another in political conspiracy, is today calling Rajendra Dholakia’s son Jay Dholakia a traitor. Does this look good on the faces of opposition party leaders? Naveen Patnaik has got work from everyone by saying traitors and pushed him out. The previous government ruled the state for 24 years, compared to that, the BJP government’s success in 16 months is more. They are only protesting in the name of protest. Naveen could not give the bonus of Rs 100 per quintal of paddy that he had announced to Babu Sohela.
The previous government remained silent after announcing it. After coming to the BJP government, farmers are now getting Rs 3169 per quintal of paddy. Nuapada district has purchased the maximum paddy in the state. 153 percent of the paddy has been purchased. There was no scheme for women in the previous government. Our government has implemented Subhadra Yojana. More than 1 crore beneficiaries of the state are benefiting from this scheme, said Shri Majhi.
Why was the Chief Minister’s grievance cell not opened during the BJD regime? If it was opened once in a while, why didn’t Naveen Babu come to hear the grievances? We are going to the people, understanding the problems of the people.
Naveen Babu used to wave his hand and say, ‘Are you happy?’ Could the people of Nuapada be happy? The results of the Nuapada elections will definitely clarify the direction of Nuapada’s development. Jai Dholakia will develop Nuapada district with the Nuapada Assembly. We need an efficient and capable representative to take the decision-making steps of our government at the grassroots level. Jai Dholakia will listen to the people for the overall development of Nuapada, I will listen to Jai Dholakia; this is my promise to you. He has come to seek blessings from you as your public representative, said Shri Majhi.
Why are there no qualified people in Nuapada? Naveen has insulted the land of Nuapada by bringing in outsiders. A hardworking local person like Jay Dholakia is the most qualified person to represent the Nuapada constituency. He is going door to door begging for votes today. Today Jai Dholakia has joined the BJP inspired by the principles and ideals of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s legendary Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Chief Minister Shri Majhi.
Jay Dholakia’s father, late Rajendra Dholakia, was the MLA of this area, he fulfilled many demands and later got the post of minister of Biju Janata Dal. He tried to develop this area and solve the problems of the poor. But you should know how helpless Rajendra Babu was. He did not get the opportunity to go to the former Chief Minister. All the MLAs of BJD could not meet the then Chief Minister, said Shri Majhi.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Majhi landed directly from Bhubaneswar at Gautama Airstrip in Nuapada today and after reaching Komna Block Garden Bandh, he garlanded the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and paid homage to him. After this, he reached Komna in a grand ‘road show’. Thousands of local residents stood on both sides of the road and extended a grand welcome.
