BHUBANESWAR: The Ruling Biju Janata Dal will hold its Organisational polls from December 27 to February 26, said Party’s State Returning Officer and Aul MLA Pratap Keshari Deb.
Deb, who is also a former Minister and Party’s Spokesperson, said that the polls will be conducted in five phases beginning from December 27 to February 26 next year.
Sources said that after the Organisational polls got over, Chief Minister and Party President Naveen Patnaik may go for a reshuffle in his Cabinet.
The Party will also take a final call on 4 Rajya Sabha seats getting vacant in view of Anubhav Mohanty’s election to Lok Sabha from Kendrapara, expire of terms of office of Narendra Swain and Sarojini Hembrum as well as Ranjib Biswal of Congress.
