BHUBANESWAR: The candidate of the ruling party Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Manjulata Kanhar has been elected as the Deputy Mayor of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Saturday.
Reportedly, Manjulata was elected uncontested as she was the lone candidate.She was the Corporator from Ward no. 22.
Kanhar thanked BJD president Naveen Patnaik for putting his trust in her. She ensured that she will address all the issues of the city and its denizens.
