NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Naveen Patnaik led Biju Janata Dal, which has been running the State since past 20 years, was on Monday received a huge praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its decent conduct inside the Parliament, in both Houses, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Apart from BJD, PM also praised Sharad Pawar led NCP.

Modi was speaking at Rajya Sabha. He also had all praise for these two parties on his Twitter handle. Very often, Modi has praised Odisha’s ruling BJD on many occasions for its policies and developmental projects in the State.

These parties have wonderfully adhered to Parliamentary norms. They have never ventured into the well. Yet, they have made their points very effectively, he opined, adding that much can be learnt from these practices.
