KENDRAPARA/BHUBANESWAR: BJD Zilla Parishad Member (Zone-8) and Kendrapara district Planning Board Member; Jyostnarani Jena has met New Collector Amrit Ruturaj and wished him a glorious tenure in the district. Jena, a leading women face of BJD under Kendrapara Assembly segment, drew attention of new young Collector Ruturaj on several developmental works and urged him to speed up ongoing developmental works.
The 2015 batch IAS officer Ruturaj, former Project Director District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Rayagada , had taken over charge as Kendrapara’s new Collector, replacing 2011 Batch IAS Samarth Verma.
Samarth Verma replaced Balwant Singh as the District Collector of Puri.2007 Batch IAS Balwant Singh had also taken charge as Managing Director of Odisha Mining Corporation(OMC).Singh is allowed to remain in additional charge of MD of Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd (OMECL), Bhubaneswar.
