KENDRAPARA: As the COVID-19 lockdown continue to hit religious activities in various Temples, in a noble gesture, BJD Zilla Parishad Member (Zone-8) and Kendrapara district Planning Board Member, Jyostnarani Jena , has distributed Ration Items among Temple Priests in as many as 8 Panchayats of Kendrapara.
“As many local temples closed since past 4 months, priests are facing hardship, I have distributed ration items among them,” the BJD Women wing leader said.
Jena visited Panchayats like Kalapada, Bagada, Bharatpur, Chakroda, Mehendinagar, Bacharai and Bandhakata and met local temples priests and distributed Ration Items among them.
Social Organisations like ‘So I am Foundation’ and ‘Hunger Free Odisha,’ and local Sarapanch, Samiti and Ward members joined ZP member Jena and distributed Ration Items.
