KENDRAPARA/BHUBANESWAR: BJD Zilla Parishad and District Planning Board member, Jyotsnarani Jena was on Wednesday attended the ground breaking ceremony for drinking water project under Kalapada Gram Panchayat of Kendrapara block under Kendrapara Assembly segment of Odisha.
Sources said, around 4000 people will benefit once it starts operation. The project was getting delaying but with pro-active role played by ruling BJD’s Women wing leader, Jena officials swing into action and ground breaking ceremony was held amid COVID-19 guidelines. Locals particularly women community thanked Zilla Parishad Member Jena for her personal effort to start work for the project.
The BJD Women wing leader Jena also met Engineer-in-Chief, Chief Engineer(R&B) and requested to expedite the work to expand the Chagharia –Kalapada Road. Jena also drew their attentions towards the problem faced by the local people under her Zilla Parishad Zone.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Jena has been very active and moving places to places to get a first hand report from various Quarantine and Isolation Centres in Kendrapara and regularly taking up the issue with district administration for necessary action.
