BHUBANESWAR: The ruling BJD in Odisha named its Observers for 30 districts ahead of 2024 polls. Party’s Organisational general secretary and MLA Pranab Prakash Das, alias Babby Das given charge of as many as 4 districts including Angul, Dhenkanal and Sambalpur districts to check Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s possible entry into electoral fray either from Dhenkanal and Sambalpur Lok Sabha seats. Besides, Babby Das has been assigned with the charge of mineral rich Keonjhar as the Party gets most of the funds from there.
Minister Pratap Deb continues with the charge for Balasore, Sudhir Samal for Bargarh, Pratap Jena for Bhadrak, Sushant Singh for Bolangir, Amaresh Jena (Bayan) for Deogarh, Prafulla Mallick for Cuttack, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak for Rayagada and Gajapati, Arun Sahoo for Jagatsinghpur, , Bijay Nayak for Kandhamal, Pramila Mallick for Kendrapara, Rabi Jena for Khurda, and Dibya Shankar Mishra for Koraput and Malkangiri have been appointed as observers.
Similarly, Iswar Panigrahi for Nawarangpur, Padmanav Behera for Nayagarh, Snehagini Churia for Nuapada, Ranedra Pratap Swain for Puri, Priti Ranjan Ghadai for Sundargarh, Pranab Balabantray for Kalahandi, Pradip Amat for Ganjam, Soubhagya Nayak for Boudh, Ashok Panda for Jajpur, Sarada Nayak for Jharsuguda, Prashant Muduli for Mayurbhanj and Debesh Acharya for Subarnapur have been appionted as Party’s observers.
