BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: BJD Rajya Sabha MP and National Spokesperson Dr Amar Patnaik has been nominated as a Member of the Research Advisory Committee of the Upper House.
SD Nautiyal, Joint Secretary in Rajya Sabha Secretariat in a letter to BJD MP Dr Patnaik informed about this. As one member BJP supported Swapan Dasgupta, who resigned to fight in West Bengal Assembly polls, a seat was lying vacant in RAC , and it was filled by BJD Rajya Sabha MP Dr Patnaik, who will remain in the post till June 2022.
The BJD MP Dr Patnaik has thanked Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu for bestowing faith on him and giving him a new responsibility in Rajya Sabha.
