RAJKANIKA/KENDRAPARA: BJD’s 4th times MLA from Aul Assembly seat and former Minister Pratap Keshari Deb was on Saturday morning visited the fire victims of Barik Sahi under Barunadiha Panchayat under Rajkanika block of Kendrapara and assessed the damaged caused due to the late night fire accident.
The Aul MLA Deb also asked locals officials and Party workers of BJD to ensure cooked food and safe shelters for the homeless families. Deb also asked Block officials to provide immediate help the families affected by the fire mishap. MLA Deb also distributed dress materials and clothes among the victims and assured all possible help from his side.
Sources said, late night on Friday, due the mishap, at least 8 houses completely gutted with few domestic animals also lost life. The local Rajkanika Fire officials faced hardship in reaching the spot due to poor road communication.
