BALIANTA/BALIPATNA (KHURDA): BJD’s Jaydev MLA Dr Arbinda Dhali has visited various Quarantine Centers in Balianta block of the Assembly segment and discussed various issues with locals and health officials.
Senior BJD MLA and former Minister Dr Dhali visited 6 GPs including Pratap Sasana, Jhinti Sasana, Purohitpur, Puranpradhan, Umadeipur, Satyabhamapur under Balianta Block of Khurda. district.
MLA Dr Dhali asked officials to strictly follow the COVID-19 guidelines and warned stern action if irregularities were found in PDS and cooked food distribution during lockdown period.
He also talked with officials and urged them to expedite the distribution of PDS and other financial packages for the beneficiaries. Sources said, MLA Dr Dhali has been frequently visiting various Panchayats of Balianta and Balipatna blocks under Jayadev Assembly seat and closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and its subsequent events in his Assembly segment.
