BHUBANESWAR: Flanked by Minister Ashok Panda and 2 Party MLAs of City Anata Jena and Sushant Rout, BJD ‘s Mayor candidate, Sulochana Das on Monday filed her nomination paper.
The polling for the state’s three municipal corporations including Bhubaneswar Muncipal Corporation, Cuttack Municipal Corporation and Berhampur Municipal Corporation and 106 other urban local bodies will be held on March 24.
Sulochana, who began her career as a journalist, started her political journey with the Congress and later joined the Biju Janata Dal. She was made the state commissioner for persons with disabilities by the Odisha government in 2019.
