BHUBANESWAR: BJD Bhubaneswar General Secretary and noted social worker, Prasanna Sahu has joined hands with Commissionerate of Police to make the Capital city clean.
A cleanness drive was carried out at Dhirkuti Basti in Mancheswar Police limits of the city under Bhubaneswar North Assembly seat, where ACP Headquaters Krushna Chandra Sethi and IIC Mancheswar PS , Sudhir Kumar Sahu joined BJD Leader Prasanna Sahu and cleaned the slum.
“A Safai Sunday! Slums can be places of solidarity, cooperation and hope. A massive cleanliness drive conducted and face masks were distributed today morning at Dhirkuti Basti in Mancheswar PS under direct supervision of its IIC Sahu,”said BJD leader Prasanna Sahu.
The BJD leader Sahu said, hundreds of children, youth and women voluntarily joined to clean up their locality and vowed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene to promote healthy living, and to cooperate with cops in deducing criminal activities.
