BHUBANESWAR:BJP is going to create history in the Nuapada by-election. BJP is going to win over its rival by a margin of more votes than any other by-election held in Odisha till date. BJD has probably realized this by now. Frustrated by the impending defeat, their party leaders have started delirious by finding various excuses, said State General Secretary Shri Biranchi Narayan Tripathy.

Mr. Tripathy said that initially there was talk that his party chief Naveen Patnaik would not ask questions in this by-election. Later, the situation became such that Naveen Babu went to the election campaign twice.
And the kind of abusive words and language he used is not acceptable in politics at all. Later, a senior leader of his party went to the media to make false allegations against the BJP and said that a truck of EVMs had come to Nuapada from Ganjam. Later, a senior leader of his party posted an edited photo on social media and misled the people of Nuapada by alleging that votes were tampered with.
Respecting democracy, the BJD has now started questioning the voter turnout of the people of Nuapada in the current elections. Such allegations have insulted democracy and the people of Nuapada.
BJP was not fighting alone in this by-election. 14 candidates were contesting in this election. Were the agents of BJD, which calls itself an orderly and big party, present at the polling booth or not? If they were, why did they not complain during the voting? While everything was orderly till the end of the election, now two days after the voting, some so-called leaders of BJD sitting in Bhubaneswar have started making such false allegations. Many representatives of Jana Bhandaram were also present there during the election.
While no one has said that the votes were rigged, making such allegations a day before the results are declared is completely fabricated and baseless. This has revealed the frustration of BJD. BJD cannot tolerate the deep love of the people of Nuapada for the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, which is clearly evident from his statements. To hide this sense of despair among BJD party workers, the BJD is spreading such false rhetoric, which is not at all befitting of democracy, said Shri Tripathi.
The Bharatiya Janata Party believes in free and fair elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party has never allowed any irregularities in elections and will not allow it now. The BJD will not gain any benefit by making such a claim without examining its own reasons for distancing itself from the people. The BJD has already been rejected by the people of Odisha, but this time it will be rejected by the people of Nuapada. The Biju Janata Dal is a backward political party in Odisha politics, so it has started making such statements, said Mr. Tripathi.
